Holly and Jeff talk about Lee Westwood's play and coming up short at the British after putting so well for three days, a thing he doesn't do well typically. Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson and others who are contending for majors.

Vartan Kupelian, PGA Tour.com, kicks off the show talking to Holly about Kenny Perry's success winning the past two Champions Tour majors. Vartan stated that Perry has not shot over 64 in the past two majors even though they are two different courses.

Holly and Vartan also talk about Muirfield and some of the golfers who have a chance. European Tour player Branden Grace is a favorite of Vartan. He feels that there will not be a lot of drivers in play and the greens should be firm and fast with the latest weather.

Philadelphia Daily News' Mike Kern, calls in next to talk to Holly about the British Open. The duo talk about Tiger's changes as well as Adam Scott and Justin Rose. Tiger hasn't played well in the weekend of a major championship in a long time. Holly asks Mike about Rory McIlroy's chances.

Mike feels that this is more of a wide open major giving 15 guys are more that have an actual chance to win. Unlike Merion and the U.S. Open Championship this year where putting was the key. Mike's picks are Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and his long shot is Padraig Harrington.

Holly talks with Jeff about the European players and their chances. Ian Poulter, Charl Schwartzel,
Graeme McDowell and Adam Scott are Jeff's two picks to win the British Open.

Jack O'Leary, former writer for the Boston Globe and a well traveled golf writer, calls in to wrap up the show to talk about Links golf. Jack says that the game will be won on the ground and not in the air as many of the tournaments are normally. Muirfield is a very narrow course. Distance and par are not two of the key elements in Links golf. The way the rough is set up and its more of a chess game.

Jack says that Muirfield you have to hit the ball 15 yards from the green and not fly the green. If you hit the green the ball is going to fly off. It's better to hit the ball short and rolling it in to the green.

Dr Bob says as players we become obsessed with making a certain score. You have to stay in the moment and focus on the shot that is in front of you. Golfers can check out his Golf Profile, which is cutting-edge web-based technology. World renowned Golf Psychologist Dr. Robert Winters of the David Leadbetter Academy interprets your profile scores and goes one-on-one with you as your personal coach through customized video analysis explaining your scores and offering his personal tips to help you develop more confidence and reach your full potential.
