In the third segment of the show, Jeff Babineau from Golfweek, calls in to talk about the some of the items making headlines in the golf world. One is that a portion of the 408 here in the Orlando area could be named after Arnold Palmer. Also the push to have the PGA Tour logo changed using Palmer's silhouette.
Jeff, Will and Holly talk about the start of the season and how tough it is to win on the Tour, referring to Paul Casey who has been playing well but only has one win on the Tour. It's all about putting yourself in a position to win on Tour and then doing something when you get there.
Holly mentions that Carlota Ciganda wins for the first time on the LPGA Tour. Also they discuss the Race to the CME Globe. The two move on to talk about the Champions Tour including Davis Love III winning on levels of the Tour. Jeff said that Davis Love is a great ambassador for the game and deserving of the Hall of Fame.

In the second segment of the show, Holly G, Host and Producer of The Golf Insiders, and Social Media Expert, EVVUS, Will Perry, are joined by Bob Harig, ESPN.com, for first time since the Ryder Cup win for the USA.
Bob says that the competition should be more even than it has been. The Task Force allows the players to have more input and more of a say than in the past. It's much like the European model. Some of the same coaches will be involved with the President's Cup team.
Holly says kudos to Phil Mickelson for bringing attention to the USA's Ryder Cup captaincy and team overall. Bob and Holly discuss that it was a pretty successful Ryder Cup all the way around with the exception of a few fans. It looks like the Ryder Cup is in good shape moving forward for both sides.
Bob and Holly talk about the start of the new season and how important these first events on the PGA Tour are and what winning them means for the players.

Holly G, Host and Producer of The Golf Insiders, and Social Media Expert, EVVUS, Will Perry, are in the studio talking about Brendan Steele's win at the Safeway Open. It was Steele's first win in several years.
Holly also talks with Will about the 2017 Hall of Fame Class announcements that included 2016 Ryder Cup winning Captain Davis Love III, two-time European Tour player of the year Ian Woosnam, LPGA standouts Lorena Ochoa and Meg Mallon, and noted newspaper and TV commentator Henry Longhurst.
Will and Holly catch listeners up on golf headlines from around the globe including Tiger Woods' new Tiger Woods Ventures brand.

Host and Producer Holly G and The Golf Insiders Social Media Expert, EVVUS, Will Perry, are in the studio talking about the kickoff of the new 2016-2017 PGA Tour season and other golf news.
In the show's final segment Holly mentioned that a big thing that happened this week was that Golfweek was acquired by Gannett Co. Inc., parent company for the USA Today Group. It will be managed by USA Today Sports Media Group effective immediately. Jeff Babineau, Golfweek calls in and talks about the history of the publication and how it has grown over the years and what the acquisition means for the future of the publication.
Jeff and Holly talk about the upcoming golf season that starts this week with the Safeway Open.
