Hosts Holly G and Rich Bianco are joined in the studio by Mary Bryan, CBS Golf and assistant coach at UCF. The trio talked about the upcoming LPGA’s CME Group Titleholders. The inaugural event will be staged Nov. 17-20, at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla. As the tour’s season-ending tournament, the CME Group Titleholders will feature a field of 66 players who qualified as the top-three performers in each of 22 LPGA tournaments this year. Those players will compete for a total purse of $1.5 million in the unique season-long qualifying format with the winner earning a prize check of $500,000. Jeff Shain, Orlando Sentinel, calls in and starts the show off talking about the recent controversy between Tiger Woods and Stevie Williams. The four move on to talk about the Australian Open and the upcoming President's Cup following the Aussie Open. Jeff mentions the benefit of having the Australian Open as a tune up for the team event of the President's Cup. Brian Hewitt, Global Golf Post, follows up talking golf. Arnold Palmer's hole-in-one (20) and the fact that he is tied with Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus hole in ones. Hewitt also talks about Stevie Williams and that Stevie went too far with his comments on Tiger and that if it was a player, that PGA player would have been suspended. Brian also talks about all things golf including Tiger's game, Luke Donald's father passing as well as the baby on the way. Rookie of the Year honors are also discussed. Jane Blaylock calls in and talks to Mary and the team about the LPGA Legends Tour. Similar to the Champions Tour on the men's side. There will be three new tournaments on the Legend's Tour in 2012. Jane talks about two memorable moments from here playing days. Winning the Dinah Shore tournament and winning the Kemper over Pat Bradley. Stephanie Jennings, EWGA Director of Golf Programs, wraps up the show as she calls in to talk about the EWGA Champions Cup at Reunion Resort. More than 100,000 women are connected to the game through the EWGA.
